Department of Oncology, University of Torino,
I'm currently Research Associate at the Dept. of Oncolgy of the University of Torino c/o the IRCCS - Candiolo Cancer Institute
I was Adjunct Lecturer of Bioinformatics at the University of Turin (see here for a short CV).
I'm member of the Center for Complex Systems in Molecular Biology and Medicine of the University of Turin.
I obtained my Ph.D degree in the Ph.D Programme in complexity in post-genomic biology.
I'm member of the BITS - Societa' Italiana di Bioinformatica.
I'm member of the GENOBITOUS: GENOmics and BIoinformatics TOrino University Service.
My work is mainly related to Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. I'm interested in connecting Computer Science and Physics to Biology.
In particular, my research interests are:
Regulatory Networks, microRNAs, long-non-coding-RNAs;
Cancer and Plants genomics;
Next Generation Sequencing applications (Chip-seq, RNA-seq);
Statistical and computational properties of genomes;
Big Data Analysis;
