I am a researcher (RTD-B) at the University of Turin.
I am a member of the Turbulence and non-linear Waves group.
My main research field is the study of statistical properties of turbulence by
means of Direct Numerical Simulations.
I also have an activity regarding motility in fluid environments, mainly swimming of micro-organisms in chaotic and turbulent flows.
I take part in the INFN FieldTurb project.

Starting from 2012 I teach part of the "Energy and Environment" (Energia e
ambiente) course for master students in Physics. The home page of the course is
Students are welcome to contact me for any doubt about the science or the bureaucracy of the course. Find my e-mail address at the bottom of this page.
Starting from spring 2019 I will teach Fluid Mechanics for bachelor students in Physics (year III)
Sono disponibili tesi sia triennali che specialistiche. Gli argomenti cambiano sempre, scrivetemi.
Starting from spring 2018 I will teach an "Introduction to
turbulence" for PhD students. Interested students should send me an e-mail
at their earliest convenience. The course will start presumably by 15 March, the calendar will be decided with those writing before 15 February.
