After a brief review of the effect of neutrino masses on cosmology,
I will focus on three types of astrophysical observations thought to be promising for detecting a small neutrino mass in the next decade(s): the distorsion of galaxy images by weak gravitational lensing (probed by cosmic shear surveys),
the distorsion of the CMB image by the same mechanism (probed by CMB lensing extraction) and the cross-correlation between Large Scale Structure and the Integrated Sachs Wolfe component in the CMB.
