BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Before leaving your home country, ERASMUS students should take care of the following:

• Reach an agreement with your faculty about the courses you will take in Torino;
• Get a certificate from your University testifying to your SOCRATES/ERASMUS status stating the grant's length and amount ;
• Get an E111 emergency medical treatment form for medical assistance;
• Make sure that your passport or Identity Card is valid;
• Get 5 passport-size photographs.

Make sure that your University has informed the SOCRATES/ERASMUS Office about your arrival at the Universita' degli Studi di Torino.

At the Physics Faculty in Turin the academic year is divided into three quadrimesters (1/1-30/04; 1/5-31/8; 1/9-31/12). Check how this corresponds to the academic calendar of your home University.
