ABM / MAS

The main activity of my PhD was to investigate the possible application of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) and Agent-Based Models (ABM) in the field of preservation and managament of data coming from scientific experiments. Thanks to these techniques it is possible to simulate a dynamic and distributed complex system in which entities communicate and cooperate to find solutions to the emerging issues.

Cloud

Part of my PhD activity also consisted in the study of cloud infrastructures for high energy physics experiments. This work was related to ABM/MAS activity since gave me the chance to investigate different computing scenarios that can be useful during the modelling process.
