My main reasearch interests focus on computational modelling of astrophysical fluid flows with applications to accretion/ejection systems (accretion disks, jets from Young Stellar Objects and Active Galactic Nuclei), radiative shocks, fluid instabilities and Large Eddy Simulations.

Development of numerical methods for finite volume & finite difference schemes, Riemann solvers and boundary value problems.

Development, maintenance and distribution of the PLUTO code ( for astrophysical fluid dynamics and plasma flow.
