The School aims to provide a general background on the theory and phenomenology of Quark Gluon Plasma  built on the expertise developed at SPS and RHIC, in view of the forthcoming LHC data. It is suitable for undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students who plan to actively engage in this area of research, as well as for those who specialise in nearby fields of strong interactions and nuclear physics.
