About VLSI Lab...



The VLSI Laboratory is part of the Electronic Laboratory of the Torino section of INFN, the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics research.

The modern research on nuclear physics requires huge and complex experimental apparatus, which in turn pose several constraints on the electronics, mechanics and computing capability of the data readout, detector support structures and data analysis. In almost the totality of the experiments it is not possible to use standard commercial solution and an ad hoc solution is required. The electronic lab provides such design and test capability.
