Weightfield2: a freeware 2D simulator for silicon and diamond detector

How to use it: 

(only Mac and Linux users) 

You need to have root on your machine (installed from source or binary).

Mac users need to have the commands line util from Xcode. If you do not have, please type in a terminal window: 

> xcode-select -install 

The program works with all versions of MacOS.

(including MacOS 12.5 and XCode 13.5 with root 6.26/06).

1) From the download get the latest version  

2) Unzip it

3) In a terminal, type "make"  

3-bis) "make -f Makefile_MacOS10.10_root6"

4) In the same terminal, type "./weightfield"
