Purpose of this event, which will be of a full fledged scientific type, is to emphasize the relevance of the Ignitor project both as a tool in fundamental researches related with Astrophysics and Cosmology and as a tool for perspective applications to thermonuclear fusion as a source of usable energy. Furthermore mission of the event is to strengthen the international collaboration in the field between Italy, Russia and the United States.
Participants to this conference will be outstanding scientists from the above mentioned countries. In particular among them there will be those researchers who have already taken active part in the development of the Ignitor project, together with other scientists prominent in those areas of research for which the results of such an experiment might turn out to be of relevant use.
