This project is developed with the contributions of the Italian Minister for research (MUR),
the Ministero degli Affari Esteri (MAE, Significant Bilateral Italy-USA projects), and the Horizon2020 program via the ERC advanced grant.

The Ultra-Fast Silicon Detector project aims at developing silicon sensors able to concurrently measure the spatial and temporal coordinates with excellent resolution (10 microns and 10 ps).
